I'm interested in these features. I have a series 4, and was planning to wait on series 6 before upgrading, but I'm rethinking.

Do I have access to any of these features on my 4?

If you have a series 4, I would have thought you knew what your own watch is capable of already...

The ECG feature is an app on the Watch, and you can take it on Series 4 and later.

The heart rate feature is also an app, but Apple Watch periodically checks your heart rate in the background as well, (without you needing to open the app) so that it can alert you on high/low heart rate.

The ECG feature on your watch is a white circle with a red heart beat line on it. On my watch, it’s top left where you see all apps (by pressing the crown button).

When taking the ECG reading, you need to be sitting and you keep one finger on the crown for the 20 or 30 seconds it takes to get a reading.

If you want more general heart data on your watch, you need the red circle with a heart symbol on it.

If you want to view data on your iphone, use the ‘Health’ App (standard app from Apple). All sorts of interesting stuff in there.

Well, obviously I don't. Honestly I don't use my watch much for other than just the basics. I do use the heart rate feature, and I keep up with my activity rings and have some reminders such as my water app, but other than that, pretty darn basic. I'm asking about this because I would like to use more features.
