No. We are volunteers.

I do it to give back to a site that has helped me with a lot of things - not all of them Apple related.

I can't speak for the rest of the mods and am a very recent addition to the team but being a Mod does not really alter the amount of time I spend on here. I was already on here way too much

Not sure, but I don't know of any free forums where the mods get paid. Its usually a selected bunch of people we like.. and sometimes hate (not me of course.. I love 'em )... who do things for free...
