Do the mods on here get paid?

No. We are volunteers.

I do it to give back to a site that has helped me with a lot of things - not all of them Apple related.
 
I can't speak for the rest of the mods and am a very recent addition to the team but being a Mod does not really alter the amount of time I spend on here. I was already on here way too much 😱
