Do the new second generations macbooks have heating issues?

thread title and your request are weird! they dont match lol, but the thing i think you want is SMC fan control.
An i've had this macbook for 2-3 weeks now rev B and i havent noticed it get loud unless i am converting mp3s, playing games or sometimes some flash on websites causes the fans to get loud. Other than that i dont feel it being very hot and i can keep it on my lap actually. (i've never tried while ripping mp3 though, or high cpu task times)

Mine doesn't get very hot, unless I start doing a lot of things. Or, if I put it on the bed (partially blocking the vents) then it gets warm, but still I wouldn't say "really hot" or anything.

hmm, so then what's the difference between your lap and your bed? would it still be warm on your lap?
