Do they charge you automatically for reserving in-store pickups?

the only thing they ask for when you reserve is your mobile number, billing zip code and last 4 digits of your social to check ATT if you can do an upgrade.
Are yall saying that I can call my local Apple store and have them hold 2 iphones for me and I wont have to worry about them being sold out??
Also, if I reserve for pickup on the 24th at my apple store, am I locked into to picking it up? If I hear that the white will be coming out in a reasonable timeframe, can I cancel the reservation and still keep my upgrade eligibility for the white iphone when it comes out or will I be screwed since I reserved? Thanks!
I think you can either do it through the apple.com website, through the apple store iphone app or go to the store in person and do it. I am not sure about calling in.
No you will not be locked. If you don't pick it up on the 24th, then your reservation will be released the following day so that others can purchase it.
