Do u use a back and side skin with the apple case ?

I tried but the sides bend out a little . U think the phone is safe with out a skin

I think it should be fine without a skin. I'm using the Apple case with a bare iPhone.

Time will tell. The Apple Bumper did scratch the bezel after a while.

It all depends on whether or not grit can get between the case and the device.

The bumper had hard plastic on the inside. The Apple leather case is microfiber.
