Hey. I apologize for what may be a silly question, but I just want to know--

I recently upgraded from a G4 Powerbook to a MacBook Pro.

I opted to move everything over automatically in target disk mode, which worked great. I must say I was impressed.

Now that I am on Intel, do I need to reinstall any Universal apps I had installed, to get optimization for Intel platform? Or, is the code base literally the same, and I am already getting the benefits of the Universal app install?

No need to reinstall. Universal apps have both PPC and Intel code slammed together into the same file. The OS just uses the correct one on each platform :D
