I’m wondering if you can plug in a ThunderBolt 3 and Type C cable into a KVM and have it output the display or does not exist?

Hi - I came on here looking for a recommendations for a KVM switch that would work with my 2020 Macbook pro and a HDMI monitor. The ones I've tried that needed HDMI to usb-c or thunderbolt converters and did not work well at all and I am wondering if getting one with usb-c connections to the computers would take care of the problems (computer crashes being the latest big one), or if the issue is likely something different. Maybe I should start a new thread, but has anyone successfully used a KVM switch with a 2020 Macbook Pro and HDMI monitor?
