Hey guys my iPad is boxed up and ready to go back to Apple for a refund,

But do the print-out return labels they provide, cover S&H?

Do we have to pay S&H? If so how do we do that? Do I take my package to a local Fed Ex and pay them?

AFAIK the customer covers the cost of return shipping. But I'm not in the US, so don't take my word for it.

I don't know a single product in the US that covers shipping for returns. Maybe those seen on TV things.

Did you call Apple and ask? For more expensive items, they cover the cost of return shipping. However, for items like iPad cases — you do.

You obviously can’t return the iPad without first contacting Apple and arranging for an RMA number.

If Apple is paying return shipping, you’ll get an e-mail that tells you want to do. You have to go to FedEx’s Web site and type in a password. There’s also a link from your Apple Store order status page.

If it’s just a generic shipping label (no postage or tracking numbers), it’s on you to go FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. If you pay for postage make sure you get a tracking number and insurance.

Did you even talk with them yet about returning it?
