Can we bypass the facial stuff and even the pin number. Reason is Im disabled and if I were to fall or need help I need anyone to be able to pick up phone and use my info. Just have to chance it when you are disabled. Seldom leave home.

Just wondered if can set it up without all the upfront security stuff.

Thanks, How about if you DID set it all up, can you go back and disable it all

Yeah you can turn passcode off later on, but I think you won’t be able to use Apple pay or store other important information such as ur credit card.

you can turn off passcode and faceID..
but you'll still have to swipe up to open ;)

that said-- if you do fall or otherwise are in a situation where you want someone else to be able to use the phone..
if they pick it up, it will wake up then on the screen it will tell them to swipe up to open..
so, even if they don't know how to use iPhone X, they should be able to get to your home screen pretty easily.

You can disable all that, but you should set up Emergency Contacts and SOS, so if there is a problem, you hit a few buttons, and your contacts are notified and emergency services are called.

Of course. Just as how your front door has lock on it but no one can force you to lock it, Apple’s never going to force anyone to lock their phone.

Anyone can make an emergency call even on a locked phone, by the way.

You should set up Emergency SOS and Medical ID. Even with your phone locked, anyone can tap “Emergency” in the lock screen and access and call your emergency contacts as well as any pertinent informafion that they should know about you should you be unable to speak.

Setup for these is under Settings > Emergency SOS which will take you to the Health app to enter your Emergency contacts and pertinent details about your condition.
