Not sure why sound from speakers would be worse.

That aside, the design is different so it shouldn't be as slippery as the more rounded earlier versions.

I'm guessing they mean because the Apple Silicone cases now cover the bottom (albeit with little holes) as opposed to the older cases which had an open bottom.

That seems like potentially more of a design issue related to a particular case than something that applies to using cases in general.

but I think little holes will make some block.
