Uh i apologize. I did take it wrong all the way. I'm sorry.

No problem :)

I don't know why Mac OS X is needed. Seriously, the 20" really works on a (non-ADC equipped) G4 450 Mhz, with the ATi Radeon 9000 Pro grfx card, using a DVI to ADC adapter (Dr. Bott's), because the G4 itself doesn't support ADC connections.
The 20" runs its native resolution, running Mac OS 9.2.2, with the latest release of ATi's drivers for their Radeon series for Mac OS 9.

I can't think of any reason why this display won't work on your configuration, running Mac OS 9.
I expect that your G4 is equipped with the nVidia GeForce 4 MX card? This one is also Mac OS 9 supported, ofcourse.
Isn't there any way a reseller could help you by letting you test a demo 20" on your G4?

Good luck!

In my dreams only. In our little country (Slovenia) it's not that simple. We DO NOT even have an apple store here like you guys. You can't even see, touch, test the products. And when you order something you must pay in advance (all prizes here are 30% higher than in US). So there is also lack of tech support here.

I have an ati radeon 9000 pro...hm so what you're saying all along, the thing is just plug and play with no hacking os 9 at all.

And, I hope i didn't cross the line of insult here cause if i have a problem this is a place to be (personally i don't care about rumors). I'm reading macrumors for years, used apple product for 12 years. I know it's wierd but i really love os 9. I know, one day i'll be forced to move on...

Thx for helping me, actually i will make some phone calls and see what happens.
