Do you buy the HD Version of a Game?

I recently purchased my iPad and I found that I have no problem playing games like Angry Birds at double pixels. Yes it does not look that great, but I don't think it is worth $5 for the same exact game. If it had more levels, features, etc. Maybe. But for now the Pixel Doubling is find.

Do you buy the HD version or just use pixel doubling.

I play angry birds doubled in size and it's fine. Or if they offer better functionality over their smaller counter-parts then I will get the HD version. Keep an eye out for free upgrades. Some of my iPhone games got HD versions in updates.

The HD games are not necessarily identical to their non-HD versions. I noticed this with Plants vs Zombies. So in the end, the price for an HD game may be higher, but you're also getting a bit more for your money.

HD. Double pixels look like crap. Why buy an iPad so you can play games that look like crap.

Though if I think a game is too expensive even one I might like, I just don't buy it.

I wish I'd never bought a game for iPhone. The iPad is a whole different ball game.

I don't have an iPad yet, but I know I'd just buy the HD version, unless the price went over $10. No thanks.

Depends on the game really. Angry Birds, yes. Words with Friend, nope.
