I used to wipe it down every night. That lasted a couple of days now I can't remember the last time I even wiped the screen down.

Thank goodness I got over treating the phone like a precious artifact and am just treating it like a cell phone. I'm careful with it but I stopped babying it.

Maybe with the long weekend coming up I'll find 30 seconds to wipe that bad boy down.

My original iPhone cleaning cloth is in the original box, my 3G cleaning cloth is in the 3G box, both boxes are living on my desk under a pile of trash. :D

Wanna sell your original one? It's SOOOO much better than the 3G one! If I"d known that they were going to change it, I would have kept it when I sold my first phone!

edit: No, I'm not OCD...mine gets makeup on it and has to be cleaned frequently. Usually I just use something handy, but a good cleaning cloth occasionally really helps.

I keep my cleaning cloth in my wallet and only use it occasionally, mainly if the phone gets some spots on it that require a bit more "scrubbing" than just wiping it on something. Or, if I happen to have my wallet open, I'll use it real quick. Otherwise, its either just wiped on my shirt, pants or a napkin.

Well, for my touch I use it about once an hour, so that puts me between "Quite a Geek" and "Ultimate Geek."

3M (and others) make microfiber cleaning cloths that are, IMO, the absolute best thing for cleaning glass--and they're washable.

I have half a dozen or more and keep some in a kitchen drawer, one in the glove compartment of my car, one in my backpack, one in my desk at work, etc. I'm rarely far from one. They're great for cleaning my phone & touch and work incredibly well for cleaning my glasses and computer monitor.

Nah, I don't carry the cleaning cloth with me. Like many others, I put a screen protector on mine so I can just wipe it off with my shirt.

I keep my phone in a microfiber oakley sunglasses' bag. It doubles as a cleaning cloth when necessary.
