I think cleaning your keyboard and mouse at work is just like shaving. You should always clean your personal stuff yourself!
I have never opened my computer at work to clean it... I'm sure it is pretty dusty, but I don't have much time for that

I keep mine clean at home but at work not so much, mainly because they're just too dirty to clean. Now if I had my own personal computer at work and was new when I got it then yeah I would clean it too.

I still have a G3 plastic iMac. Armorall (sp?) works wonders on it. Leaves it very shiny, seems to hide scratches, and isn't sticky. It looks brand new after wiping it down and buffing.

I use my tongue on the mouse. It gets rid of grime pretty quickly and it gives me a taste of work.

OMG yuk lol, do you drink some beer to wash it down? lol

Yes i clean mine, both my mac laptops are in tech shell cases and have iskins for the keyboards and also when i have customers bring there macs to me i clean theres too, a clean macs a good mac. I clean the keyboard, screen and touch pad button.

Occasionally but you wouldn't know it to look at my macbook. It mings.

Yea, I like to keep my computers in the best condition I can. They get a lot of usage too so they need taking care of :) I just don't like seeing greasy smears on the keyboard or fingerprints on the glass bits on new Macs. And that scum you get on a mouse? Urgh!

Actually it could be obsessive. My almost-5-year-old Powerbook is in perfect condition. But it all helps with resale too... I suppose.

When I first got my computer I was borderline OCD with wiping it clean daily but after a few months, I changed to wiping it down once a week. Now I pretty much wipe it down every few weeks when it's really dirty/full of fingerprints.

I do a regular clean around once a week and that includes my iMac. It's fairly easy to keep clean- some wipes for the keyboard and mouse and I have a camp feather duster cleaner for getting dust off the glass (I use it for cleaning my LCD TV too- works great).

At work I use foam sprays, wipes and air cans. I've had to 'hot-seat' for a couple of months and the state some people leave their desks in?

I know I'm a clean freak but I swear one guy had topsoil on his desk. It was disgusting. The pads on the bottom of his mouse were barely visible under a clump of matted dust

I used one of those compressed air cans on the keyboard at the desk I eventually ended up at- I was gobsmacked at the amount of muck that came out of it!

It's not the worst thing I've ever seen or smelled though. Anyone here ever remove the trap pipe from under the bath/shower to clear a blockage? Now THERE'S a minging job.

When I hoover the room, I'll suck out the keyboard and all the little cracks pretty good.

Mainly it stays in very presentable condition, exteriorly, anyways..
