This thread is hilarious! :D

Weekdays since I am not at home, my PB is the center of my communication/entertainment. So I move it back on the table, and place my food in front. With enough distance to be able to reach and type/watch/listen, but far enough to avoid dangers of spilling food on it.

My eating-in-front-of-my-Mac time dropped off to practically nothing as soon as I graduated from college. Unless you count the Mini I have hooked up to the 50" Plasma. :D

Doesn't everybody?

I don't eat and work/type, but it's not uncommon for me to utilize the big desk for food and pop on an old episode of -------fill in the blank with funny show ------- over some PB&J.

i honestly live in from of my MBP, so yes, i eat in front of it. i chose the option for "Always (and I also feed the Mac)" because an astonishing amount of crumbs ends up getting under the keys.

yesterday at lunchtime i managed to splatter tomato sauce all over the screen. it didn't enjoy that.

Got a slice of pecan pie and ice cream sitting on the corner of my mbp right now actually, it makes a really good coaster :D LOL
normally I only eat if i'm using my keyboard and mouse. If not, I have my iskin keyboard cover on so nothing gets down in my powerbook or mbp.

Yes, I do quite often actually. The 24" display on my iMac is extremely nice and since I download all my TV shows and such that I want to watch, my iMac is where I do the bulk of my viewing. So, I'll often drag my lunch or dinner up to the computer room for some entertainment while I eat. Beats sitting around and just, well, eating. ;)

I fed my iMac a cheese slice earlier, it doesn't sound very happy now

there's a few cups and plates littered either side of my desk, I'm a teen/young adult, it comes with the territory...

Not really....

My dad has this whole no multitasking while eating thing.

So generally no. Although I have before.

When I'm working on a project I usually do. For example, I've been doing lots of web stuff the past couple weeks and I've eaten every meal (with few exceptions) at my computer. The only time I don't is if I'm out or if I'm having dinner with somebody.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses it as a coaster. :p

All the time, but never near it, the food is always off to the side. :D

I do, but I've been exceedingly careful after my mom had a little milk accident that rendered my lappy into a brick.

I have a dying PB on my kitchen counter that I eat in front of. Never in front of my main Mac. That's just macreligious. :p
