Do you ever purposefully smell things that smell bad?

sometimes i smell mine. and i try to get my girlfriend and my brother to smell them also. we have a name for the smell: "Death"

Yup... I've got a pretty good sense of smell/taste. And there are some things that smell slightly bad and I'll resniff to be sure. But yeah sometimes, things are just so overwhelmingly bad that I'll sniff again just to be sure that they are that icky... <hopes that I really did take that bag out to the trash before leaving London>

i do. it isn't because i like smelling bad smells, though. i'm usually smelling it again (and again) to try and figure what that smell reminds me of, regardless of how nasty that smell might be. but yeah, i'm likely to give these things a second whiff.

I have noticed that whenever you tell others that something really stinks, they have to find out for themselves. People just don't avoid areas that they have been told smell bad; they stick their nose in and take a short whiff and then concur with the oiginal statement, "Whew that really does stink. That's gross."

Ooohoo if you guys want to smell something that smells bad... try smelling an expired bottle of Yogurt Soda. My friend actually drank the whole thing... I nearly ralphed - and I wasn't even the one drinking it!

The most rank smelling thing I've ever smelled is a drink holder (you know the ones... made of recycled paper like you get at mcdonalds). it smells like vomit.

Oh come on we all do it we smell something and say Ohh that stinks here smell this. Then we proceed to shove it in someones face or fart near a person and wait for a reaction or even better cupping one and giving it as a present
