Sure do. When I come in from playing tennis or a run in the summer, a quick cold shower really wakes me up and keeps me from taking those intrusive naps. Also, they're a great way to wake up and finish a paper b4 class or to motivate to get moving really early in the morning.

There wasn't meant to be any. Good thing is we have one walk in fridge and one walk in freezer at work so I can choose, though the freezer is closer to the shower.
I keep my apartment at ~12ºC in the winter, and I'm quite comfy.

Also explains the second pic in this post

If it's hot and gross, I'll take a cool, not COLD shower.

I'll go from cool, then to hot, to just take the shower.

It's Houston, you have to learn how to use water to your advantage.

Also it helps that one summer there was NO hot water at the camp, so I had to get used to FREEZING cold showers.
Brr.

Does turning the water stone-cold after a hot shower count?

I do that with every shower for about 20-30 seconds.

When I lived in a house a few years back, I also built an outdoor shower, which was always cold - nothing like it on a bright, sunny day.

Especially for your neighbors ;)

yeah.. i rarely take an all cold shower though, i'll often take a warm shower and then turn it on cold real fast at the end to wake myself up and kill all the fog.. and in the summer i'll throw in a few spurts of cold to cool off.

two sisters and a mom, i didn't take a hot shower until i was in college, and that was with a girl

i do take cold showers in the morning when i wake (note: i wake up at 2:45 AM Monday - Friday for work) So it helps me to wake up quicker.

Had to today - electric had been out since about 5PM yesterday, and did not get fully restored (frequent on and offs throughout the day) till I got home at 7PM. So far so good, so far. :D

having to go in the subway in the afternoon is crazy!
Could be worse. The subway in Rome has almost no ventilation at all, plus you get half the city on it, crammed into two lines.

Anyways, As the weather gets warmer, my showers get colder and longer. Then I get out of the shower, go into my air conditioned room, turn on the fan, and REALLY cool off.
I'm a very warm boy. :(

Yes, only when it is very hot outside.

Along kind of the same line, when its hot out I like to swim in a cold lake/pool /ocean to cool off. If the water is too warm it is not refreshing and just makes it feel more humid.

When in the jungle and remote areas, only because there's no hot water. Some people swear by it. I swear in and out of it, as quickly as possible.

I take cool (though not cold) showers after I've been running, particularly when it's hot outside.

That is what I was hoping for last night. Unless I wanted to sound like Michael Jackson, I was not willing to try it.

Haha!!

My boiler's a tad buggered at the moment and so the temperature oscillated from hot to cold all the time so I've been having lots of cold showers recently!!

I HATE cold showers. My whole body tenses up and I can't relax. Warm or hot is the only way for me.

During the summer i always make my shower cold. Most of the time the coldest my shower will go!!

I never take cold showers. What I like to do is take a really hot shower and then stand under a fan. It feels verry refreshing! :)
