Do you find you use your laptop less since you got an iPhone?

Use it a lot less, very convenient to use the iPhone with an infant in the house, laptop is too much work and dont have time to sit in a place to use laptop.

The truth is, the iphone has become a fair laptop substitute for me. I can't say that about the 2G or 3G, only the 3Gs had enough power to do that.

Sure, there are still a few things I need an actual computer for, like mass and easily manipulated file storage, any time I want to view a photograph in full resolution/size, editing high quality photos with PS, or managing my website, for those things I still must have and use a laptop, but for almost everything else, I find it's way more convieient to do it on the phone, even at home with my laptop inches away. I find Safari's zoom browser works really well once you get rhe hang of it, and I find myself using the phone for most of my casual surfing these days, and of course most of my email as well.

If the phone had a battery that lasted more than 5 hours of regular use, a slightly higher res screen, and a way to manipulate files a little more freely it would go even further towards being the laptop replacement it already is starting to be for me, but admittedly it has a ways to go. But my god people, it does an awful lot for a phone. :)
