Do you guys avoid calling stores to ask for availability?

I called Best Buy when I bought my iPad and asked if they had any left, I didn't really feel bad about doing it. They were actually pretty pleasant to talk to.

I don't do it often, though.

I don't know if it's just me, but I try to avoid calling stores asking for availability. It just seems like they get a million of the same question a day and they get rude with you on the phone. Just wished more stores had a way to check availability online.

Nah, I don't have a problem. 🙂
In my opinion as everything goes online we're loosing that interpersonal touch.

The last time I was at a Mac store I wanted to see what was so special about those Magic Mice. I shot the **** for the Apple Genius for a bit. Actually holding a conversation can me fun - even outside of email and IM.

i don't avoid it but I do feel like I am a pain in the ass when I call asking for availability.
