I lost the original stickers that came with my G4, but I just got an iMac the other day and got 2 new ones Yay! SO I will be putting one on my back window. Actually im gonna let my friend do it because he's a little anal retentive, and will put it on perfectly straight. I know if I try it will be crooked and piss me off :)

Its a great way of saying "Hey look i may have an ipod (any apple product i guess) in my car."

So no i don't lol.

thats funny, i never have my ipod(s) in my car. my PB, but that goes into work with me, and on weekends its not in the car either.

most of the designers and artists i work with have them on the car, and its just kind of a way of saying "i think different too"

i dont think owning just an iPod should warrant an apple on the car though....

and as far as on paint.... i have and would NEVER put stickers/decals on my paint. on glass only. I have my apple sticker on my passenger side rear door corner window (over 5% limo tint).

I personally think it is incredibly tacky to do so to one's whip.

i find anyone who refers to a vehicle as a "whip" to be incredibly tacky to begin with.

im betting you would ( or have ) put a DUB sticker on your car though?

so yeah, i guess some may think it is gay, but who the hell cares? if someone has a problem with that, then that's their problem.

I do agree... but I live in Detroit, and over here in the "motor city" some people choose not to "think differently" and decide to make their problems with narrow mindedness your problem too. Thats why I just had to ask.

i have XCarLink, this adapter
makes iPod or MP3 as a CD changer, and play iPod or MP3 through car audio system, it does not use FM transmitter, but wire connection.(Plug into the CD changer port of the Head Unit). Once it is equipped, you can choose music of iPod or USB disk from the car stereo's buttons or steering wheel controls,
For example,
1 choose playlist from iPod
2 Select songs by Next or Previous
3 Multi Play mode: Repeat, Random, Scan
4 Charge function
it looks like:

its brand is XCarLink, you can search in google etc. anything unclear, free let me know

Nope, for the same reason I don't put political stickers on my car: I don't want strangers to know too much about me. That must also be why I cover my license plate with black tape... no, not really,... um actually yes.

I have one on my rear passenger triangle window. I wouldn't put it on my paint, either.

I don't think it necessarily advertises you have an apple product in your car, the stickers are pretty ubiquitous nowadays. Then again, people break into cars for less, so you never know.

Not a sticker, but a slicker...

One of the old-school colorful Apple logo static-cling stickers. (Goes on the inside of the back window, plus one in the front side (in front of the front door) window.)

Remember the old RAINBOW apple stickers? Those were friggin' awesome!!! But one question arises: if one were to affix a rainbow apple sticker to their car, would others think that it is a symbol for gay pride? Or maybe gay apple pride. I'm not trying to hurt anybody's feelings, just wondering... so please don't flame me... no pun intended.

Does anybody out there think that the old rainbow apple stickers could be mistaken for gay pride?

I never actually thought about it. (Then again, I live in Portland, Oregon, one of the most liberal cities in the nation...)

I went to college in a small, VERY "we got both kinds of music, Country AND Western..." kind of town. One of my friends drove a car with a 'gay pride' type rainbow sticker and a pink triangle. I asked him if he was worried that displaying such obvious markers of homosexuality would make him a target in this very conservative town.

His reponse? "So far, only two people, including you, have even mentioned them. Both were tolerant. So I've come to the conclusion that the only people who know what they mean are people who don't CARE what they mean."

Don't worry about it. If you live somewhere that doing something that would make people think you are gay would be potentially harmful to you, then they probably won't reach that conclusion anyway.

My Plymouth Sundance had the classic rainbow Apple logo sticker. I had it about 10 years on there.

My current car I bought last year is still too new looking for me to want to put stickers on it.

Eventually maybe.

gay apple pride.[/B]

ROFL.

Is that for the "gay" division of apple or maybe an actual gay apple?

It almost sounds like a breakfast cereal.

part of a complete breakfast, Gay Apple Pride!

I normally don't like stickers on my car, but I figured the little apple isn't too intrusive.

Here's a pic... and yes, I did place it in the upper left corner on purpose! :D
