I call my thermas Mr Cuddles.

Not.

I know we've got stuff we call by it's Christian name, I just can't think of any off-hand.

I call my car Otis.

I call my moms car the silver dolphin.

My dad uses my grandma's car (she is now in a home) to commute 150 miles a day to work because it gets good gas mileage. My grandmas name is Arlene, therefore the car is named "Le Car De R" or "The R Car"

Thats about it.

You could probably sell that part of the wall off to a biologist for further analysis/extremophile work! Anyone know / ID the variety? Poisonous or ready to cook?

It looks like it is from the Coprinus genus, some of which are edible, some are poisonous in combination with alcohol.

Anyway, if you want to give it a name, I suggest a different mushroom, the stinkhorn or "phallus impudicus"...

There's a strange piece of furniture in our house that's a cross between a desk and a silverware drawer or a writing table. No one is ever sure what exactly it is, so we call it "The Green Thing," due to it's pea soup green color.
