I've use the iOS app to make an appt. with the Genius Bar and to reserve a purchase before I went itn, which works well.

On two occasions I just showed up for help at the Genius Bar and they made time, but I imagine if they were really swamped that I wouldn't have been so lucky.

Looks like about 35 a week on average. At least half of those are multiple questions on the exact same topic, and many are the same question reposted when no one answered the first one.
