Do You Have to Restore Before Jailbreak?

Hi everyone,

I'm about to jailbreak my 2nd gen iPod Touch using Spirit. Do I have to restore the iPod Touch before I jailbreak?

With Spirit no, you just connect and run it. You need to be running OS 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 on your device with Spirit though.
