I like them but hate that they're connected to the overall sound.

If I could, I would have the sounds enabled but low so that I can keep my ringer loud. I like the sounds, but hate how loud they are when my ringer is at 50%.

For now, I have it turned off but reluctantly so.

general --> sounds --> (ringer and alerts) change with buttons --> off

That just disables the volume buttons on the side of the phone so that you have to change the volume in settings.

no, it locks the ringer sound so that you can use the volume buttons to change sounds everywhere else (like typing clicks) but the ringer.

I've always had mine on. While not physically, it makes it seem more tangible to me. I mean, I'd be VERY, I dunno, unnerved if suddenly I never heard any key-clicks on my computer's keyboard.

I wish on vibrate, the keys would vibrate. But, whenever jailbreak is available, I can get this function back.

I actually turn mine on a off depending on my mood. Sometimes it drives me nuts depending on what else I am doing. Usually if it is like late at night and i'm watching a movie, I like that I can keep the tones on, but don't want the clicking, but then I will turn it back on after a few days... I am not sure why.

I leave them on.

If I'm at work or in a quiet public place my phone will be in silent mode anyway which shuts them off, so they aren't heard in places where they might annoy people.

I use the phone to read the news in bed. Rather than get a slap up the side of the head from a semi-sleeping wife, I decided to turn the sounds off and have not missed them at all :)

LOL, I guess I'm the exception. I actually like the clicking noises. I have ALL my sounds on.

One thing I would absolutely LOVE to see on the iPhone is Haptic Feedback. It's the one thing I had on my old Samsung Behold (pre-iPhone days) that I wish I could have again. I wonder if there's a reason Apple has decided not to add this?

Same here. :D

People who who leave it turned on are probably the same who have obnoxious ringtones and talk on their phone loudly in stores, irritating the hell out of everyone.

I don't like the click sound, but it really is the only source of tactile feedback that the iPhone keyboard has...so I leave it on.

Turn them off, always have done on all my phones. Not a fan of tactile feedback too

Find them highly annoying

I have ALL sounds disabled on my iPhone 4S (with no vibrate either). These are energy saving measures.

I'm surprised I'm the first to say this, but I realized when I have the sounds on (on the iPhone) I type more accurately/faster.
