Face up. I have one of the apple silicon cases on the 6s which protects the back and camera.

Agree about the notification LED however the problem with that is it directly copies some android devices.

How do you like the apple silicone case?

I was thinking about getting one. The midnight blue to be exact.

I don't use a case currently because I don't care for dings and scratches on the back. I only use a screen protector.

I go "naked", so face up on hard surfaces and face down on soft ones. Not worried about the camera because it's covered by sapphire.

Buy a case and you don't even think twice about how you leave it. Plus it won't look like crap when you sell it.

I've got the midnight blue on a space grey 6s and I love it. It's a great colour, got a great soft feel to it and it protects the camera and screen as it raises up a few mm past. All the ports are easily accessible. Because it's silicon, if it gets dirty it's easy to wipe it with a damp cloth.

On its back since I have the brown leather case. It does the job good. Never put my phone face down.

usually face down. I have a glass screen protector. I have this fear that if it's face up, something will fall or drop on the screen and break it!

at work it's usually propped up against my computer monitor (screen facing me.) and at my desk at home it sits on an elago stand.

So what, android device manufacturers have no qualms about copying Apple stuff. LED notifications would make sense.

Most of time mine is face up so can access hey Siri when in sleep mode, check time quick using non print finger as print I'd is so fast now. Have Apple black leather case. So either way works as case lip keeps screen from touching face down if surface is flat.

Yeah and there's a massive lawsuit currently ongoing and has been for years over a Samsung copying Apple.

Putting similar features and functionalities in is different than just copying the design of a product and making things look alike.

Apple and Samsung are doing their part to keep lawyers employed. I'm fairly certain the lawyers will find a way to keep the suit going for many more years.

In fact some of the sons and daughters of the current lawyers will be finishing law school just in time to take over the appeals case as their parents retire.

Haha guaranteed! And if Apple are suing Samsung for something, it's guaranteed they'll snap at any opportunity to return the compliment.

I've been using the Charcoal silicone case for my 6 plus, and I just recently purchased the new one for my 6s plus. I can say that the lip is enough to let me put my phone face-down comfortably, and the new material seems to not get as greasy as easily. I had the leather case before, and while it feels really nice, it doesn't feel half as durable. I dropped it once with the 6 plus inside, and the leather ripped a bit. I managed to drop it once in the silicone case with the 6 plus inside, but it didn't leave a scratch on the phone or the case.

Face Down. I like showing off my RoseGold apple logo, also feels facing up is more likely to be more distracting when I'm trying to concentrate

I have had cell phones for many years, never had a problem with a scratched screen. no screen protection just don't clean my screens with sand.
