Do you know site you can download video free?

LOL, problem with the Mac and porn is that not all the PC codecs are supported.

So there isn't always spank in the wire.

Yes. http://www.thenewsmarket.com has free broadcast quality video you can download, but you need to have some credentials to get a (free) account there. Eg be a news organisation/video journalist. Most of the video on there is corporate type stuff.

YouTube's flvs are quite hard to rip and crappy quality. Your best bet if you want to rip video from places is to get Snapz Pro X - well worth the investment of registering - and the freeware MPEG Streamclip is also very useful.

dailymotion and google video.
you can convert .flv files with iSquint. i do it all the time (south park eps)
