Do you know what drives me crazy?

    Unfortunately, I have the 2011 MBP Bug, and like many I have been doing my research. And what I find so disturbing are the people out there making such waves for problems that are not problems. Just "bratty, I deserve everything" syndrome-- clogging up the line for the rest of us.

    I have seen people on the BBB claiming that Apple should reimburse them for their "time" spent driving to the apple store because of lost contacts? Literally expecting another machine?

    Another brat saying that she called Apple support claiming she should be compensated with a "retina" ipad mini instead of the one she purchased because of all the inconvenience she has been through.

    I would like to work for apple for one day answering these complaints.

    FIRST, read your warranty you IDIOTS. No one is giving you a new anything until you let the company attempt to repair the product. After three to four attempts of repair, then they will consider reasonable alternatives. But seriously? To think Apple will give you a new computer because you got in a car and had to have them explain syncing to you? 12 times? You should be paying them!

    Learn the laws! It doesn't matter what ANYONE says to you. Apple disclaims implied warranties and warranties of both purpose and fitness in freaking bold to the fullest extent the law allows for both federal and state. Which means, it means jack poo what "Sally" said to you. Unless its is written in black and white, it means NOTHING. Do you have rights? Yes. Even their damn warranty refers you to your local statutory rights. But to write what YOU believe is a "well written" argument, whereby a simple "copy and paste" on Apple's part of their warranty is just poetic justice.

    Ive owned a business for many years, and maybe its the breed of customers I have, but in most cases, when your dealing with products and services that most people cannot afford they will do everything in their power to get it! Be it trying to mash up the words of a nice kid trying to help you. If you "deserve" the ipad mini after all your damn suffering(and I'm assuming that means suffering on the phone with technical support?)-- than YOU should have just bought it in the first place? Or are you just a whining brat that can't afford it so want to punish others to get your way?

    I also love the reviews with "Apple has so much money" and then basically a paragraph about why they need some! Apple has so much money because they are doing something right! And if they weren't, you wouldn't be addicted to it like meth dedicating endless hours and days for a $45 dollar upgrade you feel you deserve. Clearly the reviewer was NOT in the same reading group as either Tim or Steve. (Red reading group here:)) But my guess is that they are NOT all idiots seeing as its the richest company in the world? Are they perfect? No. But neither are their consumers. (though our culture says its impossible)

    The reason I say this is that because there are some of us out there who are really having issues with their devices, 2011 need I say more, and we are essentially entering a relationship with an oversensitive girl that "still has her wall up" (I HATE that and I'm a girl) being Apple and us, the customer that just wants what right.

    At the end of the day, the idea of Customer Service in this country is so isanely skewed. Some really believe that they can speak to these people in any way they see fit? Maybe its because its the only portion of the day that they dictate to anyone? But still. It reminds me WHY I did WHAT i did when I was a half the years I am now as a WAITRESS! DONT bite the hand that feeds you! I digress. How can anyone want to make an exception for anyone that is just flat out being a (rhymes with STICK)P-----? I wouldn't.

    Do we all want new MacBooks? Yes. Will we get them immediately Droned to our homes just based on our word alone? No. Will they first try to repair it? Yes.

    All i have to say to the idiots out there asking for ipad upgrades that they just feel the deserve, new iPhones for the daughter the dropped and broke it four freaking times, and a new computer because iPhoto crashed to seriously move to a village named IDIOT with no phone that can go to Apple Support.

    I find it so ironic that out of the endless Apple devices I have, not one of them has brought me in contact with these "evil" apple people. In fact I find that it is the best damn customer service i have ever gotten. I have gotten friendly, courteous people-- maybe its because I am courteous to them? Maybe because I don't assume they can telepathically download all of my frustrations in the first second of the call. But either way. If I read one more illogical review or complaint making it more difficult for the rest of us I will take a screen shot of the Stupid Review and write "STUPID" across it. Because thats how stupid it is. So stupid that it makes me want to write something as stupid as I just did.

    In the same way you wouldn't move out of a spot faster for a car honking non stop and screaming out of the window, customer care isn't going to jump through hoops when your talking to them like crap! If they are choosing to end the dialogue with you, I'm sure the reason is something that has nothing to do with the issue itself but your own inability to actually hear what they are saying.

    Customer I PHOTO CRASHED I TALKED TO TIMMY IN CUSTOMER CARE AND HE SAID I WOULD GET A NEW DEVICE. I JUST WANT WHAT I DESERVE!

    Apple. You have a one year warranty and also purchased apple care.

    Customer WHY ARENT YOU LISTENING TO ME! WHY ARENT YOU HELPING ME! I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER. WHY IS THIS SO HARD!

    Apple. Id be happy to help you. Can you tell me the error message when I photo crashed?

    Customer MY HUSBAND KNOWS THE PASSWORD I DONT, I CANT HOOK THE COMPUTER UP. WE WANT WHATS RIGHT. WHY ARENT YOU HELPING US.

    Maybe its the hormones in the chicken. Maybe its the immediate "need" and self deserving culture we are in. Maybe its the fact that mom didn't consider that her snapsexting daughter would EVER jailbreak her phone and that its apples fault! Either way, maybe that collaborate effort should be creating a mirrored apple support site run by the passive aggressives to be the dark knight that Apple needs. Silent, but battling the idiots. So apple can deal with those who have legitimate issues.

    So exactly what is the 2011 MBP bug? I'm actually interested to know since I have a Late 2011 MBP.

    There are days I suspect that this forum does a sort of moonlighting duty as a substitute for a therapist's sofa……in that it seems to allow a safe space where individuals feel that they can vent…….

    However, I do feel a vague surprise at the intensity of the emotions that are often expressed online; indeed, I am intrigued by the fact that the intensity of the emotions expressed are often in inverse proportion to the nature of the problem experienced by the poster.
