DO you leave you printer on at home?

Duff-Man says...I keep mine off until I want to print something (not too often). I am a real energy-save freak...this house is full of energy efficient light bulbs etc...never a light on in a room except the one I am currently in...heat never up above 15ºC...I have got my electric bill down to about $37/month Canadian $$...every little bit really does make a difference....oh yeah!

My Canon i450 has some options that lets it Sleep and Wake up automatically, I haven't looked in a while but it was buried somewhere in the printers preferences.

Pretty cool even though I don't use the feature very often. As far as I can tell the printer is completely off when it's sleeping as I don't see the power light on at all.

My HP LaserJet 3300 All-in-1 doesn't even HAVE an On/Off switch!!! Therefore it is on 24/7.

Hi, mine is left in sleep mode as noted in other posts since my Canon offers it and my girlfriend along with myself are always printing something. It also is left like that because I have an AE with the printer hooked into it on another floor of my house
