Well, I guess it's true. More people come onto forums to complain than they do to praise.

Most of the threads are negative, but this poll shows that over 3/4 people like iOS 7!
Most negative posts address the aesthetic changes from both usability and stylistic standpoints. However, that doesn't change the fact that IOS7 has some great new features for both end users and administrators. If you changed the wording of your poll, to ask which users like the functionality, but dislike some of the aesthetic changes, I suspect the poll results would be quite different.

I love iOS 7, I love even the icons, It brought so many things that it made me not want to go back to iOS 6, and it's update can be on par with iOS 4 when all those features were introduced that era. I am happy that it brought the following:

~ New UI (I feared that Black and White would make it bland...but it's colorful still! AND I LOVE the Glass/Translucency of it all)

~ True Multitasking

~ Dynamic Wallpapers (Hope Apple adds more of these as the beta progresses) Also the Parallax effect was pretty nice to me as well! Panoramic wallpapers I don't see myself really using too much heheh

~ Control Center (Finally I can get to DnD and Airplane Mode in a quick fashion AND I got a flashlight)

~ AirDrop, LOVE this feature BUT would like it to communicate with OS X as well.

~ FaceTime audio (I remember requesting this feature from Apple back in iOS 5 I dubbed it AirCall)

~ iMessage, FaceTime Blocking <3 WANTED THIS

~ Animated Weather I really wanted this as well.... >_< Wanted it since iOS 6 because I found that it was an update that left more to be desired.

~ Camera filters, since I use them I am happy the native camera adopted some lol

~ Siri, what can I say I love Siri's new voice, and I really am glad to see her operate faster.

Well, I love it, and I didn't immediately - it took about 15 mins :D

Apple have been radical, (which is what Apple do - lest we forget) and opened people's eyes to a whole new world of aesthetic beauty and balance, of simple fonts that serve to keep your content in centre-stage, whilst appearing beautifully spaced and rendered, and perfectly aligned with relation to other UI elements.

I suggest ALL members tempted to make uninformed judgements about mere appearances of iOS 7, sign up to a free ADC account, and watch the following video, before making any more "I hate iOS 7" threads/posts - educate yourself, instead of annoying many:

But I asked overall. If someone likes the features but hates the UI, they would have voted no.

Don't like it at all, looks like a bad cheap theme, especially the mis-matching icons. And hate the new Safari.

I love how iOS 7 works, not so much how it looks. The way an OS looks doesn't matter that much to me so I guess 7 is a winner for me.

Not going back to iOS 6 that's for sure.

my battery drains out faster with iOS7 and certain apps crash as soon as you launch them.

i don't like the new itunes - it defaults to opening apple radio (which i don't like as well). i also don't like how the album artwork looks on the screen when it's locked (it shrinks and it's too small).

other than all these minor issues, i have no other negative comments.

You can change the order of the menu options on music if you don't want iTunes radio to open by default.

I voted no, i know it's the first beta and things might change but at the moment all i like about it is the Weather app.

Oh and the speed of it, i thought it was pretty sharpish for a beta too.

I had the beta installed on my 5 for as long as it took 6.1.4 to download.

I hate it wholeheartedly... Looks like i'll either be staying with iOS6 for the next 2 years or just switch to Sony Xperia Z google edition in july

I like it. A lot.

I think like most people on seeing it over the low res live stream, i was a bit shocked (especially by the icons) but even there the new features seemed good.

Over the last week or so, I must say the aesthetic has definitely grown on me. Even the safari icon!

Going back to iOS 6 on my main phone, well it feels dated. Best analogy I can think of is, when you look at Puma/Jaguar now (or even after having used Tiger or Leopard) the UI just feels way over the top, and very dated.

I feel exactly the same. Even seeing my friends using iOS 6 on their phones makes me shudder - it just looks so dated. Granted this beta is buggy and unpolished but overall i'm really pleased with it and love the new UI.

Looking forward to Beta 2.

I get a very different reaction. For me, OS7 is like a time warp back to the late 1990s and early 2000s before technology supported 24-bit color icons with transparency, shadows, and depth. In addition, the color scheme (pastels) produces flashbacks of the Carebears animated television show that was a favorite among sisters everywhere in the 1980s.

I feel like i'm the only one that 100 % love iOS7. Why must people whine? Are you retards? I cried like a baby when watching the WWDC Keynote live. It's absolutly beautiful, stunning and so fresh. iPhone really needed this. Jony Ive and Apple has done an amazing job. Be thankful you whining bastards!

You realize that "whiners" (I.e., critics) are a big reason for these changes, right? They complained about the lack of a quick toggle screen, the lack of multitasking, and the "stale" look, among other things. Apple responded with IOS7.

I did not complain about the OS6 "look;" I am more than happy with the IOS6 "look" (but not the features), and would like an IOS7 release that gives us the new features without some of the UI changes.

I don't know what the uproar is about the ui is much cleaner looking. I can't speak in performance yet cause its still buggy and leggy but it looks great it has a familiar feel. I like it. I think people just hate change especially when your os has been the same for way too long.
