I'm not talking about the products revealed.
I am however talking about the style of the events, Tim's intros and outros, the segues from one segment to another and anything else you can think.

Personally I'm not a fan of them at all for a number of reasons, but what do you think? Do you like them? Or do you not like them?
How do you think Apple could improve their digital events in the future?

I like them better than having a forth of the presentation time being consumed by the audience clapping at every sentence, and often for no other reason than the presenter has to take a breath. I don't tune in for a show, but to see what has been announced. However, that being said, the digital presentations of Apple are often more sophisticated and entertaining than some stuff from Hollywood.

On a more sarcastic note concerning the last... Leading off the show by having the CEO gushing about the color PURPLE? Come on.

I miss the Phil Schiller presentations, loved the way he presented.
So do I. Sure he looked rather terrible on stage, didn't take care of hinself at all. But how he talked and his stage presence, it really gave off the aura of someone who actually knew a lot about what they were talking about.

On the other hand most of the current presenters (in my opinion) give off the opposite aura, as in how they speak, their presentation style, does not give off the "I know what I'm talking about aura". Were they chosen for different reasons? That's topic for a different part of these forums.

Overall people like Craig Federighi, Steve Jobs, Johny Srouji and a couple of others (like a few from the State of the Union keynotes at WWDC) I just can't remember now have been very good.
Johny Ive no so much. He's a brilliant designer, not really flat and not that good at vocal variety when speaking infromt of the camera.

As an aside, I tried to look up a hostory of every presenter at Apple Keynotes and I came up with nothing. I had to go off my memory to type up this post.

What drives me nuts is the canned hand gestures. It's like there's an off-camera choreographer signaling "Now do hand position one. Now do hand position two. Now one again. Now three. Jazz hands!"

It feels a bit forced and disingenuous. The sort of slimy feel you get from corporations trying to act like they are your friends. It's well produced and polished and isn't the worst thing I've seen but I did prefer on stage presentations.

I also feel there's a bit too much diversity picking like hey did we have a xyz, OK good, now back to the engineers.

It's well produced as others have mentioned. I also like that because it's all pre-recorded there's less opportunity for cringe moments that you only get when you're live (fluffing up lines, mis-pronouncing words, or the odd unexpected comment from an audience member being shouted across the stage).

That said, a lot of the presenters don't appear to have much personality and instead talk 'at' you rather than 'to' you ala. Steve Jobs, Craig, Phil.

I've really enjoyed them. It was very interesting getting to see around the Apple campus.

I like them for the time being, they are bringing actual content especially while staying under guidelines. I think they've done the best they could to present their line up of products.
