Personally, I like to contrast my strap and what I'm wearing.

For example:

Black Gucci drivers
Blue denim shorts
Navy Ralph polo

I'd wear my starlight solo with this. Whereas I reckon many people would wear a navy/blue strap.

Accessorising.

What about you?

I always match if I have the strap or go for a contrast if I don't.

For example, I wear a navy strap with most blue and am currently wearing a product red strap as it is Christmassy. I wear sometimes green polo shirts and wear my orange straps with it and change my face to green :)

Yep, I do overthink it lol.

I change them depending on the occasion, if its more formal i will go with a metallic band or my favorite a black and grey nato band.

I only care about the strap color I like. Whether it fits with the rest of my outfit is the last thing I will care about, assuming I bother at all for whatever reason.

I have a few straps in colours I like and pretty much only swap them out after they get sweaty on a run. The only time I purposefully change the band for fashion reasons is when I use my one leather band for weddings.

I don’t change bands very often, and for my Ultra I have the yellow, orange and midnight ocean bands, sometimes they match, then they contrast and then they do neither ;)

I would match the strap with the little horse on your shirt!

Let’s see. I don’t have money left for decent clothes because Apple products are so expensive and I can’t use Windows or Android for obvious reasons. Also I had to buy a car because my lazy wife can’t walk to a grocery shop which is only like 3 kilometers away. Tells me it’s hard to go forward in 20cm snow every day with pram. I say it’s just being lazy. Whenever I go out its just to buy diapers and toilet paper wearing winter overalls smelling bad because I didn’t have time to shower. So yeah, I don’t have that problem. Love to read about your Guccis and Ralphs though.

Honestly, neither. I wear for comfort and functionality since I took medical retirement. I’ve got some Milanese type bands and some Solo loop types;but really the most comfortable ones I find are the stretchy Nylon ones that only cost a few $.

Commenting as a man, it’s never crossed my mind

Many of my nicer mechanical watches are on NATO straps or leather, my Apple Watch is on a fabric strap but I don’t wear it for anything formal

I’m a fan of less is more, my speedmaster on a nato looks much more serious and high end than one on the stainless bracelet (which I have…somewhere) as it looks like a watch worn by someone who has it as more than man jewelry

When I purchased my first Apple Watch, years ago, I wanted the bands to match my outfit.
However, over the past few years, I wanted a contrast, just like my socks don't match my outfit!

Within the past few months, I've noticed that I tend to stick to my two Nomad bands (cream/sand colour and the army green one)...

I just have one strap - the black / pink nike band that came with my series 5, which I have been using for pretty much everything. 😛

I wouldn't mind a bright orange strap, but unfortunately, I have resolved to wear only the nike sport band because of my tendency to sweat a lot and none of the other colours really strike my fancy at the moment. 😕

I don't care about coordinating my watch band, I keep the same band on all the time no matter what I'm wearing.
