I don't listen to anything loudly. I dislike loud noises; they're painful to my ears.

If I'm alone in the truck, I have the volume set to either 2 1/2 or 3 bars (I don't know how high it goes). If someone's in the truck with me, it's almost always off.

When driving every once in a while i'll be at a red light near a car blasting their music...

At times the music is ridiculously loud, where I can't help but think the driver wants the 4 nearest cars to listen to his/her music too, forcing us to feel the bass. But other times I'll be either at any red light or even traffic on the freeway and will faintly hear another cars loud music, but with the clear intention that they don't mean to bug other drivers with it, it's just that even though their windows are up, their music is still loud.

Admittedly I do this too. Many times i'll listen to my music loudly myself, though never with the intention of bugging other cars; just to enjoy my music..

When driving on surface streets the volume is at say "16" out of 30 in the volume meter on my stereo...however when driving fast on the free I easily go 20+, and even up to the highest 30 when i'm really into the music.

I guess I just felt like posting this cause on a daily basis I always see other drivers out there with their music playing loudly, singing along to their tunes and rocking their heads...but I gotta search for them in the sea of all the other drivers who seem dead bored and tired, almost in zombie driving mode during their drives...iono. Glad i'm not one of them.

You?

What did you say ??? :)

Yup all the time. Once I pulled up to my church parking lot playing some Tupac. hahaha, some old lady said I was going to hell.

I was blasting Rammstein with the windows open when picking up my brother from Sunday School (at the synogague - we're Jewish) a few years ago. That got me some dirty looks :D

Jeez, must be getting old. Music in the car is monotonous to me. I listen to books or podcasts.

i too am a fan of this...however since replacing my ipod touch for the ipad i havent hooked up the fm transmitter to my car, allowing me to listen to audiobooks on the go...and im not about to burn some of my audiobooks all over again......8hrs+ for each books, thats like 9 CDs...ugh.

Waiting for the iPhone 5!
