It's been a long time since i didnt skip day work off stay at home to watch Apple Event , the last time that i did when i guess was an iPhone 6 , in recent years the iPhone has been exposed so much that I'm not inspired to watch it ,. This time anyone in here skip a day to follow them ? :apple::)

I don't ever intend to take a day off just for an event like this. I will just wait till I get home and once Apple post it on their website, I will just skip the entire video and just watch the main part and that's it.

Never been an issue here as it's always on at 6pm in the UK. Can you not just bookmark the direct link to the stream and watch later in the day? It's really not hard to stay offline for a few hours to avoid spoilers (Endgame, Game of Thrones etc)

since iphone 4 , 5 , 6 , no one care about watching event anymore , everything is leak and non excited ;)

This question comes up every year. I'm a teacher, and the school year will have just started. No, I'm not going to use a sick day or something and do my students a disservice just to watch a long commercial for Apple products. I can usually catch some of it during my lunch, and then get the highlights online later.

I guess the people saying they’d lose money skipping work are Mon-Fri workers. My schedule can differ from week to week, so sometimes I’m off on Tuesday. If I’m off, great. If I’m working, I can usually watch most of it before work and catch the remaining bullet points online.

I’m a college student and unfortunately Tuesday is my long day of classes, back to back from 11am to 3pm eastern time. The keynote will start at 1pm here. Last year I was done early in the day and watched in a quiet area of the library. I think this year I might bookmark the spoiler free live stream so I can watch it when I’m done.

I run a small business so days off are rare. When I do take them I lose track of my iPhone as quickly as possible and do the dad thing.

At some point I read the synopses here, though.

I'm retired, so I take every day off, Apple Event or not.

I usually stream it to my iPhone during the day and listen to the audio and then go home and watch the video of the parts I was interested in later. If I have a meeting I just read the summary on macrumors and watch the video later at night.
