i did, it broke a few months back and I have yet to replace it. Problem is the only good games (welll most anyway) are from Japan and thus require importing which can be really pricey.

No.

I recall we talked about it coming to VC(there were no fact to support that idea, just if we'd like it) and I was there was NiGHTs as the one stand out title.

I had one with Nights (which I never liked) and Panzer Dragoon Saga (great game and we need another panzer dragoon Sega please)..

nice console, horrid controller.

I had one...only game I had for it was Shenmue and I NEVER finished that game.

Loved the console hated the controller.

That was the Dreamcast.

I had a Saturn also. Not a lot of standout games on it though. I still have it somewhere in a closest.

I've got one. Playing through Shining Force III again at the moment, but I've also got Panzer Dragoon Saga and a handful of other, lesser games.

I think the Saturn controller was my favorite of its generation. Never did like the PSX Controller, or even the DualShock design.

Opps....I saw wrong:D

Yes I did have a Sega Saturn and to this day I can't remember an outstanding title...at least the SS disc drive is quiet.

Bless

Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Radiant Silvergun, NiGHTS, Dragon Force, Burning Rangers, Virtua Fighter 2, Saturn Bomberman, Grandia, Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete, Tactics Ogre, X-men: Children of the Atom...come on, now.

We had one in our flat at uni (um, 10 years ago:eek:). Sega Rally and Virtua Fighter 2 are all I can remember. Then Playstation and Gran Turismo came out and we never played it again.

Also, Radiant SilverGun... isn't that worth £££? Let me check eBay... Yup £250 ($500) Yikes! It's still not a Gold Nintendo Wold Championship Cart though... $15000

Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga,

I saw these on Cybernet many years back and always thought it looked like a brilliant series. I've got Orta for the Xbox but I could never complete it  love a good flying rail shooter.

But no I never had a Saturn. The only Sega consoles I own are a Mega Drive and Dreamcast.

The first two are artistic and unusual rail shooters, the third is a ****ing phenomenal RPG. Legendary, even. The art design is wonderful. There's really nothing else like it.

See here.

This thread is worthless without mention of Radiant Silvergun. Best. Game. Evar.

Overrated.

The Sega Saturn was killed in America by the then head of Sega USA. He didn't want to bring many of the great import titles over for fears that the Americans "wouldn't get it".

Then Playstation and Gran Turismo came out and we never played it again.

Most over rated console ever!

I had a Saturn and spent my whole summers full time $$ to pay for it. Heres what I remember...

Clockwork Knight (way too short)
Panzer Dragoon (great game)
Myst (also great)
NHL 95
Sonic Metal?
Bug?
Virtual Fighter 2
Sega Rally

I then gave it away the following year after games stopped coming. Still good memories though.

I not only have a Sega Saturn downstairs, but working Genesis AND working Sega Master System :)

Never owned a dreamcast though.

Phantasy Star was the greatest RPG, I wish the series didn't take the direction it did.
