I do pay for all my apps, software, and movie rentals.

Apps and software I do like to purchase because it guarantees me support from the developer and it gives me immediate access to updates without having to fish for them. I'm too lazy for all that.

Movie rentals I also have no problem paying for because my AppleTV makes it too convenient to play stuff through Netflix or just rent it through the iTunes Store so I say "EFFF it!" and just pay per movie. When I do watch movies, it's usually a spontaneous decision so I don't have the time or patience to go online and search for a movie and then wait for it to download and all that nonsense. -- Porn, on the other hand, I will take all the time in the world looking for and will gladly help myself to the "promotional" material. ;)

Music. I have no respect for the industry as a whole (particularly the old, perverted, money-hungry, creepy satanists that are in power). Artists (the majority of them) are also soul-selling, fame-starved egotistical puppets and they are nicely taken care of through their lucrative recording contracts, plus the bulk of their income comes from endorsements and touring, anyway. Depriving them from the few cents they make per album is something most people should learn to live with. I'll only purchase an MP3 from iTunes if I'm in the car (or traveling) and hear a song that I feel I must have at that moment. Otherwise, it can wait till I get home. My other MP3 purchases occur whenever Fandango gives me a free Amazon MP3 download with the purchase of movie tickets.
