.99/month is a bargain.

If the next 20 years concerns you, I expect that your choices for storing data will change - several times - during that long period.
My opinion is that if you want to make sure that YOU have your data, and you don't want to be subject to the demands of some other company, then keep all your files and data stored locally, with other copies of the same data kept in another physical location. In the mean time, use the cloud for convenience. That's what you do now.

3 sentences, and I can understand almost none of it.

Take your time when you post, and try your best to use better grammar, or at least a little.

Just curious - what is your primary language? (not English, eh?)

i'm [quick thinking] same as forward thinking , which is think and type , no need gramma check ....😀 hahaha

You are posting here for others to read -
And, I agree, you don't need a grammar check - but it WILL help everyone else 😀
I usually read, then think about what I read.
I can make a similar suggestion for you, moving ahead, which would be to continue with the quick thinking. Your typing is likely the slowest part of the whole operation.
Try your best not to disconnect from your quick thinking when you start to type.

Neither I, nor anyone else, has had a problem with understanding what he is saying. It's pretty obvious English is not his native language. If you can't understand "basic" English - which his post are nothing but, then just move on to the next topic instead of asking him to spend x amount of time further researching the English language to cater to your needs.

This is an Apple forum where he wants to share his enthusiasm with the rest of us, not a job interview.

As someone who teaches English to university International students for a living, I whole-heartily agree!

Google photos. Free. Basically unlimited. Available from any OS or browser. 🙄

And not only that, but also Google has access and free reign to all of your photos any time they want. Most likely even after you stop the service or disconnect your device(s). Gee wiz, sign me up!

You honestly believe Apple doesn't do the same with the iCloud photos? Chuckle 🙄
At lest Google tells you. Apple is just ...... silent.
