I am thinking about dissing "Click to plugin" for Safari, since the new YT player is using HTML 5 today anyways.
Is anybody else still using it?

No, I completely deleted Flash and all of its associated files. Security risk. And PITA with all of the recent updates. Adobe is trying (in vain) to keep up with the reported security flaws.

What really decided it for me was almost being suckered in to a fake Flash update notice. It was actually a redirect to a site that downloads malware.

Life's too short to deal with this grief. Flash is unnecessary; don't complicate your life.

I have removed that anchor completely from my system. I do have it on the wife and kids Macs though. They play games, I do not...

Remove the piece of junk if you need flash install Google Chrome which has a supposedly secure version of its own included then use that for sites that need flash.

Second this. I've installed Google Chrome as a second browser only because one site which is important to me insists on flash. Really, flash has no reason to exist any longer.
