Do you feel angsty if your battery meter isn't full? Do you suffer inner turmoil by leaving the house without a 100% charge? Do you get palpitations if the meter shows 50% and you're no where near a USB port? Are you continually "topping it off" by plugging in any chance you get? Has the USB sync cable become part of your "kit"? Or worse, do you bring the AC brick wherever you go too?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you may be suffering from IOCD...iPhone Obsessive Charging Disorder.

My iPod connector follows me in my laptop back all the time. I sync up my phone a lot to make sure my schedule is always up to date. Not to mention, make sure I have the newest episodes of the podcasts I listen.

I don't carry around the power brick ... thats permanently "attached" to my nightstand.

First few days I had it, I topped it off ... I don't do it anymore because my battery lasts plenty. I have only run it down past 50% once so far.

I bring my iPod charger to work with me so during the day I can charge the phone here and there.

It helps and isnt a hassle since I am of course bringing my phone as well to work.

That's too much! I have SOISCD (Severe Obsessive iPhone Screen Cleaning Disorder) and am never more than 3' from a cleaning cloth. I have been 10 days without messing with my album art. I am however aflicted with CLMUCH (Can't Leave My USB Cable Home) disorder.

    :)

Folks, there are three words that can solve all of these problems:

    Griffin Power Jolt.

Keep it in the car, has a USB cord that plugs into the cigarette adapter so you can simply use the cord for your computer or the car charger plug. It's a beautiful thing.
    Works with iPhone and Ipods.

    wow... same here.

I charge it every time I'm home at the charger by my nightstand.

I keep it plugged in to my Griffin charger while I'm driving to work.

I plug it in when I get to work into my Macbook and keep it charged.

I plug it back in to Griffin whenever I drive home or any time I'm on the road.

I guess you could say I have a bad case of IOCD as well :)

Coming from the Windows Mobile CDMA world, I am a severe case. My PPC-6700 would die so fast, I was afraid to use it if I didn't have a plug nearby. I still feel that way when watching movies or just using the iPhone, but I am plesantly surprised at the long GSM battery life! I'm in recovery, so to speak! :D

Oh my got it must be an epidemic because I have the same 3 disorders. Is there a help line I can call? Or a group meeting I can attend?

    I also suffer from

    IGHMACOID syndrom

(I gotta have my album coverart or I'll die)

That came long before I tried out phone calls or other features.
