It's long gone mate, not selling well.
Not selling well? It still sold more units globally than the nearest rival on android of a specific device. So only 6% total iPhone sales may look small on paper, but that’s still a massive amount sold overall, and selling even better this year I’d wager.
And who told you it wasn’t selling well? Because this year for example there are many, many more posts about the 13 mini than there are of the regular 13, same on Reddit and other places. Sales were handicapped last year because it launched late and people are impatient with tech like phones. Many who would have bought the mini, and are this year, bought the regular one and would then post their regret later.
The tooling for the mini iPhones is all in place, maybe a rename to the new SE with the current 13 internals is one option, but I don’t think it will just be axed same as they kept the 12 mini in the lineup this year, they didn’t have to do that.
Also, Apple will have to either keep the mini or lower the prices of the regular models, otherwise there’s a massive increase in price to get yourself the latest iPhone.
The other aspect, is Apple don’t care about keeping products that “don’t sell” even though I think the figures this year are going to be surprising, look at the iPod, Apple TV etc. Low sales figures, but they keep them in the lineup.
If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. But right now my point is, no one knows what’s going to happen.
