Do you think Canon will announce a 7D MKII this August?

Canon has an event at Photokina 2014 and there rumors stirring of Canon announcing a 7D MKII. What features do expect or would like to see?

I just got into videography and I don't know if a t2i that I have right now will be suitable for professional work, I was going to purchase a 70d next month but with these rumors I was thinking of waiting.

Ever the optimist, yes I think they may.

That said, I can't imagine how many customers Canon has lost to the D7000/7100 and the Olympus cameras because of the 7D2 delay.

The 70D was a good stop gap though.

The Canon Rumors website says August 18, for whatever that's worth. Also, if you scroll back a few days, they also post reported specs.

For videography i wouldnt so much focus on the body, because accessoires like sliders, steadicams, lighting and lenses make all the difference.

The 7d was considered hot **** a few years ago. They shot the movie "Like Crazy" on it. Todays dslrs are all way ahead of the 7d. I think the 70d is a good option.

At the moment nikon seems to surpass canon in that regard.
