I love the apple leather cases. Ive had one for many years on every iPhone ive had. I used to only buy the Saddle Brown and it would darken up beautifully! My iPhone 11 I went with the green. It doesn't seem like it darkened at all.. I am not sure if its just so subtle that I didn't notice or if the leather is treated or something.

Anyhow I notice on the 13s there is no more Saddle Brown, its now called Golden Brown.

Do you think the Golden Brown case will darken like Saddle Brown did?

Doubt it if they all are this light colored. Saddle brown sometimes had some lightness but these are very light. They will darken though. Skin oils will show on all the light colored cases.

I ordered the golden brown thinking it would darken like my saddle brown on 11 pro max. Guess we will see.

based on past personal experience, lighter colors don’t patina very well. The only hope is if Apple uses a high quality leather. Light + synthetic leather = no bueno.

Look at this video. Saddle brown came new looking pretty light. I remember being embarrassed by it for a while.
