My MBA (13"/i7/8/256) shipped on Aug 23rd and the expected delivery time is Thursday Aug 29. After sitting in Louisville for 2 days it left today (the second day) and according to package mapping it is currently en route to Mount Hope, ON. Does anybody think that I'll get my MBA on Wednesday instead of Thursday? I saw some other tracking reports and it went through Mount Hope and Buffalo in a couple of hours overnight and could be out for delivery tomorrow morning or afternoon. (I live in Concord, ON btw)

    My most recent tracking info:
Louisville, KY, United States 08/27/2013 4:03 P.M. Departure Scan

Louisville, KY, United States 08/25/2013 6:21 A.M. Arrival Scan

Anchorage, AK, United States 08/24/2013 8:20 P.M. Departure Scan

Anchorage, AK, United States 08/24/2013 5:49 P.M. Arrival Scan

    Shanghai, China 08/25/2013 1:45 A.M. Departure Scan

    :D

OP, in my humble opinion, either way, it is worth the wait. I've seen MacBooks being delivered earlier than expected to friends by FedEx, so there is a probability.

Anyone want to run some numbers? :)

My new i7/8/256 is due tomorrow. Was hoping it would come today, but it got stuck along the way. Left china, then to Korea, Kazakstan and then to Germany where it spent 2 days doing nothing. Now leaving Germany it seems to get here (Sweden) tomorrow. Cannot wait.

I don't know about going into Canada, but mine got to me here in the states on a Monday when it was scheduled for a Wednesday delivery according to the tracking info.

I would rather let the shipping carrier take their time because you don't want to see this:

I had one of the Lenovo laptop shipped to me with dents all over the box. Fortunately, the laptop was double boxed. :)

Too bad they don't come with the labels that used to be slapped on luggage in days gone by so you could see where people had been. Your Air is better travelled than most people I know.

My new MBA travelled from the stockroom at B&H to the pickup counter at the front door. :D

Sorry no, you won’t be getting it today. If it doesn’t switch over to “On vehicle for deliver” by 9:00 it’s not going to go out that day.

(Veteran of lots of Arrival Scans in Concord.)

I wouldn't worry about the phrase "On truck for delivery," my 13" MBA came a day early, and the FedEx site didn't say it was on the truck. It only said it was at the destination facility. Nobody was home at the time to sign for it, so I just picked it up at the FedEx facility when I got off work.

    Cheers,
    Chandler

Well, it didn't get here a day early :( There was a destination scan in Concord again meaning it is waiting for a truck to come and pick it up. Very excited since this is my first mac:apple: laptop.

Only if it left Mount Hope,ON a couple of hours earlier I would of got it today lol :D

Well, I'm sorry that it didn't come through for you. I've had my MBA for exactly 3 days, this is my first apple product, and I do have to say I love it. Once you get into it, you realize apple put quite a bit of thought into how things work. It's genius really.

Too bad. I had high hopes mine would come a day early, but it got stuck in Germany. Now it is just a few hundred kilometres from me, but it seems to be stuck, again.

Today is my due date, but I am fearing even this will not happen.

Have had so many different iMacs, MacBooks, Air, iPads, iPhones and iPods over the years, but my expectations for this machine are sky high and I just want to get started with it.
