I bought the MBP primarily as a Windows machine about 6 weeks ago. Having played on both the Vista and OSX sides of the machine, I still far prefer Vista, though that could be a result of my long experience with Microsoft Windows.
With that being said, given my own computing needs (need strong graphics capabilities to run Adobe Acrobat on large report files containing CADD drawings and photographs), the MBP with the dual graphics processors is the best possible machine. Even if I were never to run OSX again, I'd say this is the best machine on the market. And for the best machine, you pay the highest price!
Another funny thing is that when the Unibodies first came out, people were like "oh, why did Apple copy the design from HP?" and now after a year everyone is saying HP and others are copying Apple's design
