The funny thing about the Windows "clones" of MBP's is that they costs as much as MBP most of the time!

I bought the MBP primarily as a Windows machine about 6 weeks ago. Having played on both the Vista and OSX sides of the machine, I still far prefer Vista, though that could be a result of my long experience with Microsoft Windows.

With that being said, given my own computing needs (need strong graphics capabilities to run Adobe Acrobat on large report files containing CADD drawings and photographs), the MBP with the dual graphics processors is the best possible machine. Even if I were never to run OSX again, I'd say this is the best machine on the market. And for the best machine, you pay the highest price!

Exactly.

NO ONE says "you know what?, I really want a laptop that looks like a MBP, is the same price as a MBP, but it made by HP and only runs Windows"

The other computer companies still haven't "gotten it" yet

Another funny thing is that when the Unibodies first came out, people were like "oh, why did Apple copy the design from HP?" and now after a year everyone is saying HP and others are copying Apple's design :p

Maybe on the colour scheme, but in real life aluminum looks wayyy better than plastic.
