We saw it yesterday with the new iPads

Think we see it with the new iPhones. Got to imagine we may. God knows how much that will be

I don't know. On the iPad Pros, 512GB is meant for the professional users. It would be nice to see 512GB on the iPhone 8.

But if Apple only has two storage options available on the iPhone 8 but with one being 512GB,it would be 128GB, 512GB. But if Apple doesn't release a 512GB version it would be 64GB, 256GB.

I think they should...I mean when it has come to my iPad and my iPhone, my iPad MAY have around 20 GB on it, while my iPhone is usually 6-8 GB under my capacity (128 GB model). I fill up the capacity of my iPhone because I am way more mobile with it, using it for pictures and videos (from traveling to concerts to events/functions). I would rather have more capacity instead of having to worry about uploading to cloud services so much for my iPhone.

It would be great, but I highly doubt it. It'd be nice of them to bump the base storage to at least 64 GB though. I'm surprised how long it took them to ditch 16 GB.

Not happening for the simple reason of money...they'd be killing their profit margins.

Won't happen for a while...

If Apple makes 128gb, 256gb, and 512gb, I would be more than content with those iPhone 8 models. An iPad is different than an iPhone because iPads are built towards heavy-duty productivity in an iOS sense.

Still wondering what in the world someone could do with 512GB
I remember just a decade ago when people whined and fumed and stopped their little Apple-fabboy feet on these forums due to the iPods not having 512gb storage for ALLLLL THEIR MUSIC...

Now imagine it is 2017 and people have ALLLLLL THAT MUSIC and super-duper 4K video amounts from movies and video shot in the field?

I can imagine many people would love 512gb on their iPhone, though it might not be completely necessary if you are a cloud freak.

Why? If they do include 512GB on the new iPhone, it will probably be at $300+ over the base model. If anything, margins would be higher.

I have a 128GB iPhone. It has 96.4GB free. I use Netflix and Apple TV. I have about 148 books on Google Books and Kindle. My music is Google Music.

512GB on an iPhone. I'm not paying for it. Do I think a lot of other people will too? No. But I may be a bit biased. Most people I know have no problem with 64GB of storage as well.

Nope. Especially after using iOS 11, I don’t think 512gb is needed for 99.9 percent of users yet. I expect 128gb and 256gb.
