If you ran the Mac Studio with the Thunderbolt Display as your primary monitor, do you think it would be awful? I know the resolution is half but I'm coming from a 22" 1080 screen and was considering a Thunderbolt Display...
ATD is very good - at it's original resolution.
For text, HTML and web use - it's perfect which is what I use it for.

ASD is my video streaming / hi res video playback screen.

And the antiglare feature of the ASD is superior to the ATD.....

The m2 chip in the MBA and MBP supports up to 24GB of memory. Is that a physical limit? or a choice by Apple?

The m1 chips only supported 64GB of memory on the "Max" versions. is that a physical limit? or choice by Apple?
Will Apple offer a mini that supports 64GB of memory, as in the current Intel model?

I hope these questions are answered next month... That, and I'm assuming that all 'pro' products will have wifi6e from now on...

There is only room on the M2 MBA package for 2 RAM chips, and the chips appear to max out at 12 GB, at least in the volumes Apple wants. That means a maximum of 24 GB.

It is extremely unlikely even an M2 Pro mini would support 64 GB. If you want 64 GB you'll probably have to get an M2 Max Mac Studio.

fwiw, M1 Pro supports 64gb on the MBP. I understand artificial limits, but if they’re going to do that, it kinda defeats the purpose of having an M2 Pro in the Mini

No it doesn't. The M1 Pro MacBook Pro can only be configured up to 32 GB. The 64 GB option is there, but it is greyed out for the M1 Pro. The only way to access the 64 GB option is to upgrade to M1 Max.
