WWDC = June 8
Summer = June 21
Splitting hairs a bit there...

Also, assuming a new iPhone IS announced at WWDC, I doubt it will be available immediately. But I've been wrong before.

Don't tar us all with the same brush; I'm a Newbie because I hardly ever post, and you're amazing because you've got a 5-digit number, big deal!

Oh and as somebody else has noted, sort your own grammar out before questioning other people's intelligence, or just shut the f#*k up.

No probs 🙂 However, I do tend to agree with your original sentiment. The trouble is the fact that talk about the "New" iPhone is pure rumour and conjecture. The only official statement from Apple has been that the new OS 3.0 will be released as a free upgrade "in the summer".

There have been numerous threads asking about the "New model" and to read yet another one is, well, a bit tiring in the least!

This explains the reason for some of the replies - some, not the most tactful or polite but that's life 🙂
