Do you think this can happen in the next generation?

    Do you believe that the next geneneration iPods will have a internet browse on them? Or is that way out of the ballpark for tomorrow?

    it would be nice, but i think apple wants to keep the ipod as a media player and not the convergence device the iphone is trying to be. though i wouldn't put it past apple to implement safari, i just don't think it'll happen.

    I don't think it's impossible. A lot of PMP manufacturers are starting to put WiFi and web browsing capabilities in their devices.

    As much as id love the next ipod to have safari, something tells me that it would affect iphone sales and that apple isnt willing to do it. But one can dream...
