Do you think this keyboard will work

A local store sells the Microsoft wireless Desktop 6000 bluetooth, and it comes with a USB bluetooth adapter. Do you think it will work without the Microsoft bluetooth adapter using the 24" iMac built in Bluetooth?

i'm not finding a 6000 model that is bluetooth...only RF, which might be what you are talking about ... with a dongle and all. gotta have the dongle for these models:

The current 6000 is listed with Mac drivers on MS's site.

It is NOT Bluetooth.

MS lists Optical Desktop Elite for Bluetooth, Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000, and Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 under Bluetooth keyboards. And only the 1st has Mac Drivers listed on the download page.

Thanks, I saw the keyboard on EBay and it said Bluetooth. I guess another gimmick. I will look for the 7000.
