Sure, he may be preoccupied with all the preparation and stuff but it has nothing to do with being able to sleep or skipping sleep.

Tim could come out on stage, take a dump, then click on a PowerPoint slide with the default plain template with bullet points of the new iPhone specs then raise his hands and walk off the stage.......
And it'll still sell millions of units and have people lined up around the block.
Apple is pretty much on autopilot right now. This isn't like launching the original iPhone or iPad where there was any risk involved.

LOL...You do know that as far as inventions go....Apple has invented very little.
They would get their ass handed to them from all fronts.
